Welcome to the homepage of the Three Rivers
Community College Raiders men's basketball team. We have an outstanding program,
having compiled a record of 1135-319 in 42 seasons of existence. We have won two
national championships, one in 1979 and one in 1992. We have appeared in 15 NJCAA championship tournaments, with
top 5 finishes.
TRCC Head Men's Basketball Coach and Athletic Director
Gene Bess is a two-time National Coach of the Year. He has
averaged almost 28 wins per season in his 38-year stint as head coach. The Raiders
have won the Missouri Region 16 tournament nineteen times and also won the MCCAC
(previously known as the MJCAC) championship 28 times during his tenure. The Raiders
have one of the best winning traditions in junior college basketball.

We have also sent several talented players on to
Division I schools, including NBA All-Star Latrell
Sprewell, who played here in 1988-90
before transferring to the University of Alabama.
